WEOC 2026 is Just a Few Days Away

Hello Kathryn,     WEOC 2026 is just a few days away! I look forward to seeing many of you this Saturday, September 19th, at Vermont State University in Randolph. Register now to secure your spot!     I’m thrilled that Vermont entrepreneur, Marguerite Dibble, will be joining us as our Keynote Speaker followed by a fireside chat with special guest, Margaret Cheney. We’ll also be hosting a closing panel: The Story Behind the Business; The Good the Bad and the Ugly, moderated by Ruchi Nadkarni with business owners Kristin McCole, Elizabeth Roma, and Janet Lee. Our many expert workshop presenters are looking forward to teaching everything from starting a business and pitching yourself to AI to hands-on Metalsmithing.    A few logistical notes ahead of Saturday:      Kindly make sure you’re headed to the Randolph Campus of Vermont State University at Judd Hall. The address is 124 Admin Drive, Randolph Center, VT 05061. Please look for signs and staff to direct you to park on the right side of Admin Drive. There will be free event parking provided on campus. If transportation is a limitation for you please call our office 802-863-2525 or email us at weoc@welch.senate.gov.     Doors open at 8:15am. Please give yourself enough travel time to be fully registered before the conference begins promptly at 9:00am.      Morning coffee with baked goods and lunch will be provided, including options for folks with dietary restrictions.
