Hi Kathryn, As tech companies continue to lend their tools and networks to advance fascist and zionist agendas, it has become clearer than ever: the struggle against Big Tech must be central to the fight for Palestinian liberation. Part of that work is naming names––exposing exactly which corporations are profiting off violence and control, and how.  Our partners at Corporate Accountability launched their Corporate Hall of Shame two decades ago as part of their fight against the tobacco industry to do just that. Since then, corporate power has only grown, to the detriment of our communities and environment.    That’s why this year, we’re asking for your help in choosing the most evil tech company of 2026.  Check out which companies have been nominated and cast your vote for the “worst of the worst” by August 31st. VOTE NOW Whichever company wins the most votes is inducted into the Corporate Hall of Shame (right where they belong), then Corporate Accountability works with allies to target the company through grassroots pressure campaigns.  This year, five tech companies are on the ballot: Amazon, Meta, OpenAI, Oracle, and Palantir. They’ve been nominated for fueling violence all over the world, but here's a quick rundown of how each of these companies is tied to Palestinian rights violations: Amazon: partners with the Israeli government on Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion contract that helps power Israel's genocide in Gaza. Meta: runs ads from Israeli settler organizations that murder Palestinians and steal their land, while silencing Palestinians documenting the genocide from inside Gaza. OpenAI: through its partnership with Microsoft Azure, OpenAI's tools have reportedly been used in AI-assisted targeting in the Gaza genocide. Oracle: in 2021, became the first multinational tech company to sell Israel cloud services, building a $319 million data center in Jerusalem that fuels mass surveillance of Palestinians. Palantir: deepened its partnership with the Israeli military during the Gaza genocide, supplying AI tools and decision-making systems for the assault. We can’t let these companies off the hook. By voting, you’re contributing to the growing mass movements challenging these corporations’ abuse and power.  Get your Corporate Hall of Shame ballot and learn more about their role in fueling destruction from the U.S. to Palestine. GET YOUR BALLOT At AJP, we’ve been digging into how deeply intertwined the U.S. and Israeli tech sectors have become, and how that integration props up violent systems in Palestine, the U.S., and beyond. Israel markets itself as a global AI superpower. But what it's really selling is surveillance and violence, tested on Palestinians––and none of it would be possible without Big Tech and the U.S. tech billionaires bankrolling their tech start-ups. That means that when we fight Big Tech––whether through the No Tech for Apartheid campaign, shutting down data centers, canceling Flock contracts, or building grassroots pressure on companies through the Corporate Hall of Shame––we chip away at these corporations’ power and Israel's toxic tech sector, too.
