Two Democrats in Congress have put it on hold, and the Senate could vote on rising Israeli settler violence in the West Bank as soon as next week.    Pressure like that builds when people keep picking up the phone, protesting in the streets, and refusing to look away, and you've been doing exactly that.   Even mainstream pop culture is catching up. As Israeli war criminal Netanyahu addressed the UN in New York City, Trump has announced he wants to send Israel 60,000 more 2,000-pound bombs. The $2.8 billion package includes 20,000 MK-84 bombs, 20,000 BLU-117 bombs, and 20,000 I-2000 penetrator warheads.1 U.S. taxpayers would pay for most of it.2 These are exactly the kinds of weapons the Block the Bombs Act (H.R. 3565) would stop. The Israeli military keeps pushing its land theft "yellow line" deeper into Gaza, and Palestinian families are now squeezed into less than 40% of the Gaza Strip.3 Twelve countries including the UK, France, and Canada announced plans to restrict trade with Israel's illegal settlements, but the Trump administration won’t hold Israel accountable.4 United Airlines is flying weapons parts to Israel on passenger planes, including shipments bound for Elbit Systems, Israel's largest weapons maker.5 Palm Beach County, Florida has put about $1 billion of public money into Israel bonds—the highest in the country.6 The Internationalist Law Center, including a USCPR youth fellow and coach, organized 100+ people to show up to a hearing to oppose the investment, where police arrested Palestinian human rights attorney Noura Erakat in an attempt to repress Palestinian speech. As she said “You are witnessing … an absolute assault on democracy in Palm Beach County in defense of Israel, against all of their constituents standing in the room who oppose genocide and against the slaughter of children.” Support the campaign by phonebanking on October 1, 5-7PM. After Ed Sheeran dropped Macklemore from his tour following pressure from anti-Palestinian billionaire stadium owners like Robert Kraft8, every remaining opening act, plus Sheeran's own band, quit in solidarity with Palestine.9 Trump’s bombs package for Israel has been put on hold for the moment. Rep. Gregory Meeks publicly announced a hold and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen has held it up since July.10 Denver activists just got the local zoo to drop Chevron, which makes three local organizations they’ve pushed to cut ties with this BDS target in the past year.11 Sign the Drop Chevron petition from our sibling organization USCPR. As Israeli war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu walks free in New York City, despite the International Criminal Court warrant for his arrest, thousands of Palestinian political prisoners like Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya are behind bars. Demand Congress and the American Medical Association call for the freedom of Dr. Abu Safiya, Dr. Mazen Rantisi, Dr. Dima Barakat, and all healthcare workers.    The Senate is about to vote on rising Israeli settler violence in the West Bank. 22 senators, led by Sen.
